During the late 1930s, Union Pacific often used auxiliary locomotives to pull trains from Ogden, Utah to Wasatch over a steep pass. U. P. wanted to simplify this system and commissioned its own engineering department to design a new locomotive that could pull a 3,600 ton train (up to a maximum of 4,200 tons) up the steep pass. A "Simpsons" (anti-) activity book
Format: Hardcover
There was obviously care and thought put into the creation of this neat little book. I was expecting something along the lines of the "Book of" series from a few years ago, but this has lots of little cool touches that make it stand out. It is a bit pricey, and you can read the whole thing is an hour or less, but it is a book I would love to revisit from time to time and show to friends, so it's worth the cost.
